Privacy policy
Effective 7 October 2026 · Squadstorm: Zombie Shooter
Squadstorm: Zombie Shooter is developed by Kevin Mok. This policy applies to builds with AdMob ads and platform cloud saves.
Squadstorm saves game progress on your device, can sync it through your platform’s cloud service, and shows ads through Google AdMob.
Game data
Progress, settings, coins, records, and saved runs are stored in the app's private storage. Local recovery copies may be kept when resolving different saves. Android Auto Backup may also include app data in your Google backup. No Squadstorm account is required, and the core game works offline.
Cloud saves
When your platform account is available, progress and the checkpointed run sync to your Apple account's private iCloud storage on iPhone/iPad, or to Google Play Games Saved Games on Android. Platform player/account identifiers are used to associate the save with the correct account; a hashed account identifier is kept locally to detect account changes. Audio, controls, accessibility, and graphics settings stay on each device. Apple and Android saves are separate. Apple or Google processes cloud data under its own privacy policy; Squadstorm does not operate a shared account server. Cloud sync requires a connection and the same platform account on your devices.
Reset and removal
Settings → Reset all progress resets the current local progress and sends the reset to the connected platform save when sync succeeds. Another device with different offline progress may require a save choice. Uninstalling removes app-local data but does not delete the platform cloud copy; manage platform accounts and stored app data through Apple or Google. Resetting progress does not reset advertising consent or tracking permission.
Ads
A banner may appear in a separate footer during battle. An interstitial may appear between levels after every five successful campaign runs. Optional rewarded ads can revive a campaign run or boost earned coins. The core game works offline. Ads and privacy messages require an internet connection.
Advertising data
Google's advertising SDK may process IP-derived general location, device identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic/performance information for advertising and measurement. Data handling depends on your consent choices and device permissions. See Google's Privacy Policy and advertising technology information.
Consent and tracking
Google's User Messaging Platform presents applicable privacy messages. Where required, Settings → Ad Privacy Choices lets you revisit consent. On iOS, an IDFA explainer precedes Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt when eligible. You may decline tracking and keep playing. iOS controls access to IDFA; you can change permission in system Settings. Resetting game progress does not reset advertising consent or the system tracking permission.
Sharing
Daily Challenge cards are saved locally when you tap Save Card. You choose whether and where to share them.
Audience
The game is intended for players aged 13 and over.
